Etamax is a Malaysian-based boatbuilder specialising in the assembly and finishing of aluminium boats. Our boats are mostly of Australian and New Zealand designs, imported as Completely Knocked Down (CKD) boats to our local plant, where assembly and construction are achieved at lower costs by utilising local manpower and material. This results in beautiful finishing at low prices. The Etamax boat selection range from 3 metres to 12 metres in length. Boats up to 6 metres utilise the Durojoint non-welded mechanical interlock system which are proven to be stronger than welded joints, as welding weakens aluminium. It is widespread belief among those in the boating industry that the Etamax aluminium boats with Durojoint are among the strongest and most durable. Next is our selection of plate aluminium boats ranging from 7.9 to 12 metres. These boats are commonly used for sports-fishing, diving, ferry and sightseeing services. Powered by diesel engines, they are available in sterndrive or conventional shaft drive. To complete the Etamax selection of boats, we have the Flat-bottom Boats which can be used as houseboats, sightseeing boats and barges. Because of their structure, the Flat-Bottom Boats are ideal for carrying heavy loads in calm conditions.
